Tlamelo M Mothudi
Tlamelo M Mothudi is an independent contractor as well as Health, Human Rights and Climate Change advocate and researcher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy, Politics and Law) from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Rhodes University, South Africa and is a Masters of Laws (LLM) candidate with the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She has completed several short courses and obtained certification for: Introduction to Nvivo, Rhodes University, Introduction to Global Health, University of Stellenbosch, Social Accountability Monitoring, Rhodes University and Traditional and Virtual Leadership in the age of Disruptions, Rhodes University. Tlamelo is a senior Global Atlantic fellow in Health Equity with the Global Atlantic Institute, Rhodes Trust, United Kingdom and volunteers for several Civil Society Organizations. She is currently a ex-officio board member of the Public Health Association of South Africa (PHASA), a working group member of the Membership Development, Mobilization and Conscientization working group of the Budget Justice Coalition (BJC) and is the secretary for the Remembrance Quilt Project, Gaborone, Botswana. She is an advocate for climate change, access to healthcare services for rural communities, including mental health and well-being services, access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Right (SRH&R) in particular, abortion rights for women and young girls and the public participation of communities in the budget cycle and advocacy.
