Sintayehu Meshageria Abera is an astute Environmental Resource Management Professional with hands – on experience in Environmental Protection and leadership, Climate Change adaptation and mitigation, Agronomy, Agri-Business and Livelihood diversification. He has MSc. In Environmental Science specializing on Environmental resource management; MA in Community Development; B.Sc. in DRM (Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development) and Diploma in General Agriculture; from Madda Walabu University, Leadstar Theological College, Yardstick International College and Ambo University respectively in Ethiopia. An Experienced Senior Humanitarian development professional with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry for several years; he is currently the EU-Cross Border project and Area Program Manager for an International NGO that focus on Triple Nexus approach (Humanitarian, Development and Peace Building) across three countries of Ethiopia, Kenya and South-Sudan. Sintayehu Meshageria Abera is a Climate Reality Leader and a serial volunteer for several Environmental and Climate Change Initiatives and Climate Leadership Programs including serving as an International Chairman on Environmental Debates and now also volunteering as the Research/Program coordinator and Country Hub Co-Lead for 10 Billion Strong Environmental Service of Global Youth Program in Ethiopia where he has educated hundreds of youth and volunteers on Climate Change, environmental sustainability and the SDGs.
