Salifu Saani Bansi is a Technical Officer with the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD). An experienced field staff in community engagement and an advocate on climate smart agriculture (cocoa farming). He has B.Sc. In Agriculture in the university of Ghana, Legon. He has also worked with NGOs such as African Rights Initiative International (ARII) as a volunteer change agent. He has educated over thousands of cocoa farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), environmental protection and sustainability, climate smart farming, gender and climate change (Gender Justice) through Farmer Base Organizations (FBOs), Community Information Centers (CICs) and Radio programmes. Salifu Saani Bansi is a lead team member who collects field data, analyze and interpret it for policy formation and implementation in the Ghana cocoa sector. He is determined to continue his personal development on both academic and non-academic fields. He is an ardent advocate for environmentally friendly methods of farming
