Mitchell Mahachi is a passionate Ph.D. candidate in urban ecology with expertise in urban sustainability, nature-based solutions, and climate policy. He holds a Msc in Climate Change Management. Driven by a commitment to environmental protection, he explores the potential of nature-based solutions to enhance urban resilience and sustainability, contributing to climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. His research aims to advance the field of climate change management and urban agriculture through innovative thinking and a collaborative approach, ultimately making a significant impact on the global effort to build more resilient and sustainable cities. Mitchell is also a Visiting Guest Researcher at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf  University of Applied sciences the largest green campus in Germany where he works on renewable energy and climate policy topics.
