He is a dynamic and result-driven Agricultural Executive, and Project Manager with more than 7 years of work experience across sectors in the Botswana market. Mr Taka has a BSc in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering from the Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources and currently pursuing Masters in Research and Public Policy with the University of Botswana. He is intimately familiar with best practice in corporate governance and has served in key Organizational boards and committees, including the serving as Civil society Representative, Ministry of Agriculture; Youth Representative from the Agriculture sector at United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework Guidance; Agricultural Sector Committee Member – Human Resources Development Council and Governing Council Member at Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources amongst others. He is the Executive Director and President of the Botswana Agricultural Sciences Professionals Association [BASPA].
