Joyce I. Nchom Humphrey is an astute Meteorologist with hands-on–experience in atmospheric science and its impact on various sectors of the economy, particularly health. She is also an ace broadcast meteorologist. Her interest in climate change and environmental sustainability cannot be overemphasized. She has a B.Sc. in Geography from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria, M.Sc. in Meteorology and a PhD in Applied Meteorology both from Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria. A serial member of several task teams relating to weather and climate and their impact on man and the environment and a one-time WMO-WHO Climate and health focal point for Nigeria, Dr Joyce is an independent researcher, A Climate Reality Leader trained by the Climate Reality Leadership Corp, and Oxford Climate Society. She is a member of the Royal Meteorological Society, the American Meteorological society and the Association of Nigerian Geographers.
