Hold a Ph.D in Soil Physics & Climate Change Science. He is both of the Charles R. Darwin Institute of  Biopaleogeography, Poland and Nigerian Meteorological Agency.where he is the Director of Research & Training. He received several international academic awards including the  King of Thailand Award for “outstanding research in vetiver technology application”  He teaches Climate Change Science, Agrometeorology and Hydrometeorology He was a Senior Research Fellow with the United Nations University (UNU). and a visiting Research Professor to Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation,  (Embrapa Soils), He is a member of the United Nations University (UNU) College of  Research Associates (CRA). He consults for FAO of the UN on Climate Change and  Agroecology and he is member of several professional bodies including the  International Society for Agricultural Meteorology, African Forest Forum, Soil  Science Societies of Nigeria, East Africa and Africa and life member of India Soil  Conservation Society. He sits on the Education and Training Committee of the World  Meteorological Organization (WMO)
