Mr. Dereje Ararsa Debele is a senior Environmental expert. He has a BSc. Degree in Natural Resource Management and MSc. Degree in Environmental Science. He has 19 years of working experience in environment and climate change-related topics for various organizations in different positions. He worked as a coordinator of development agent West Showa Zone on Jeldu Woreda’s Agricultural Office. He also worked as a team leader of Biodiversity Conservation and Natural Resource Management in Environmental Protection and Forest Management authority in Jeldu Wereda, and a team leader of Watershed Development and Forest Management in West Showa Zone on Jeldu Woreda’s Agricultural Office. He is currently working, in Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority in the position of a team leader of Environment and Climate Change. He is responsible for emission reduction, environmental sustainability, and climate change mitigation and adaptation issues to enable sustainable air transport.
