Chiyedza Sandi is an Environmental Officer with hands-on experience in project management, community engagement, integrated land-use planning, biodiversity research, renewable energy projects, climate action and development of environmental action plans. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Environmental Science Honours Degree in Natural Resources Management with Bindura University of Science Education in Zimbabwe. A co-founder of Climate Research and Advocacy Trust who is currently an Environmental Planning and Monitoring Officer at the Environmental Management Agency. Chiyedza Sandi is an environmental enthusiast working with children, youth and the vulnerable in lobbying for environmental and climate justice. Since 2023, she is a member of the UNCCD Technical Working Group in Zimbabwe. Chiyedza is also experienced in natural resources inventories as well as the GEF-7 Zimbabwe Child Project-Dryland Sustainable Landscapes Impact Program.
