Arthur N.K. Chigogo is an astute SHERQ Project Management Practitioner who is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner with hands–on experience in Energy (both Renewable and Non-Renewable), mining and public health sectors, community engagement and advocacy. He holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Health and an M. Science in Engineering Project Management. He is currently pursuing another M.Sc. in Climate Change and Sustainable Development with Lupane State University, Zimbabwe. Arthur N.K. Chigogo has managed to attain certificates for various skills in both Project Management and SHERQ Management fields of knowledge. He attained a Certificate in Project Financing, Contracts and Risk Mitigation with the University of Cape Town, A Certificate in Green Bonds, Operationalization of Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement as a well as a Certificate in Synergizing DRR and CCA Thought Leadership Course Certificate all offered by the UN Learnership Programs.
Arthur N.K. Chigogo is the Team Lead, and currently working a Quality and Risk Engineer for Hwange Expansion Project (US$1.5Billion). The Project is pilot project is Zimbabwe equipped with a Hydrogen Generation Plant and Flue- Gas- Desulphurization Plant which go a long way in researching more on Green Hydrogen and Clean Coal Technology. Arthur has also contributed in Relocation Action Plan of communities and business affected by the project. Arthur also played an advisory role on the development of the Hwange Expansion Project Environmental and Socio Impact Assessment from Conception to environmental rehabilitation after project closure.
Arthur N.K. Chigogo has also worked on the renewable power construction project on the Kariba South Extension Project. A Climate Reality Advocate trained by the AGNES, Arthur is a strong, ardent advocate for Clean Coal Technology as a solution to reduce fossil fuel GHG, as developing nations gradually moves towards net zero emissions in power generation. His risk experience in project financing, environmental management and sustainability, clean technology and implementation of projects will go a long way in policy development and frameworks to ensure bankable energy projects that give a win-win for both developed and developing nations.
