Ann Kiai is a passionate gender champion with vast experience in community advocacy and gender equality promoting the rights and empowerment of indigenous girls and women. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply chain management from the University of Nairobi. Currently working with Nasaru Women Community Organization, an implementing entity of the Kenya Climate change Adaption program in Kajiado. A crusader for building the capacities and resilience of indigenous women including women with disability to adapt to the effects of climate change through alternative sources of livelihood and their inclusion in climate change negotiations and decision-making processes at local, national and international levels. She is a community lover and volunteers for different non-governmental organizations at the grassroots level in Kajiado County, Kenya.
