Abdullahi Mohamed Juma is an experienced agricultural professional with hands-on experience in designing and implementing agricultural research experiments, soil and water conservation, and rice production technologies. With a BSc degree in Agriculture, Diploma in project management, Diploma in Agricultural engineering, an ongoing MSc in Agricultural Resource Management (Nairobi University) and several short courses in efficient irrigation technologies. Juma just completed an 8-week intensive course in Climate Leadership Program Cohort XIII conducted by The African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES).
Juma is currently deployed as a water management project officer in a JICA-funded project that deals with increasing rice production in Kenya through disseminating of better rice production technologies, where he trains farmers and other relevant stakeholders on better irrigation water management for rice production.
