CLIMATE CHANGE AND HEALTH INICATORS UNDER THE GLOBAL GOAL ON ADAPTATION Mapping exercise

1. Tracking adaptation progress for the health, health services, morbidity and mortality thematic target is crucial in ensuring the development of robust, locally effective adaptation interventions. 
2. Standardized methodologies and that also define source metadata for health-related adaptation indicators are essential to allow for aggregation and comparability across scales.  
3. A rigorous indicator refinement process is needed to ensure that the selected indicators are relevant allowing countries to track and assess adaptation efforts effectively.
